The story of Samson and Delilah is a familiar one to most believers and unbelievers alike.
Because of his choices he was flirting with the devil without realising...the devil was disarming him without even his comprehension and the presence of the Lord left him without his knowledge.
Beloved if we are not careful this can also be us...our very choices, company we keep and counsel we welcome compromises the calling in our lives. You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you Galatians 5:7-8.
Like Samsons desires blinded him to the enemies ploy on his life.
Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding Proverbs 9:6. Yielding to the lust of the flesh will separate you from the protections of the Lord. Samson thinks that he can withstand the attacks of the enemy, but he was wrong. Paul reminded us with this by saying that “let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls..1 Cor 10:12
It cost Samson his vision and his eyes were plucked out..Thats the agenda of the devil , to take away your power and ability to see visions.Dont play with sin beloved.
Samson lost his power, and his anointing. He became a laughing stock to the Philistines. His life becomes a bad testimony and his God was mocked..Dont take things for granted beloved. The anointing on you will attract the attacks of the enemy on your life. Making the right choices and living a holy consecrated life separated for God will keep your anointing and validate God’s calling for you.
For Samson, the God of second chance re-visit him once again and he regained his strength and avenge his eyes that the enemy took off. Please dont take sin lightly..
