Revival can be described as the awakening of the church to their first love for Christ, true nature and purpose.
Our leading scripture today describes the dead and lukewarm churches in Sardis and Laodicia....to the dead church Jesus said Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. Revelation 3:2-3
And to the Lukewarm church He said “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—Revelation 3:15-17
Beloved isn't this our very states at times?! our love for God has either fizzled out or we treat Him as an after thought.
As the day of Jesus's return approaches revival is happening beloved...it is neither stagnant nor hindered in it's going...God is also not a respector of persons... Whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him Acts 10:34-35...
Revival first starts within each believer and then pours outwardly and communally our combined revivals become a movement.
Either you get with the programme and join the revival for winning souls and calling sinners to repent or you will get left behind....
God is looking for willing and available vessels....thats the only conditions...have a willingness to be used and making yourself available....if you are neither of these He will find those who are. So get on board beloved.
